STEELFAB: Alaskan owned and operated steel fabricator and service center

In business since 1948 and owned and operated for over 20 years by Richard and Janet Faulkner, STEELFAB is a steel service center and fabricator encompassing over 10 acres in Anchorage adjacent to Ship Creek.

Fabricating pressure vessels, tanks, modules, special design items, raw steel products and sewage treatment plants, STEELFAB serves customers in the oil, construction, mining, timber, fishing and maintenance industries here in Alaska.

Their 10 acre site includes over 80,000 square feet of covered work area, indoor fabrication space that includes a specialty paint and coating building, six 10-ton overhead cranes, five 5-ton overhead cranes and modern fabrication equipment.

President Richard Faulkner says, “Our goal is to make sure our customers never have to leave Alaska to get their steel needs met. We are confident we meet or exceed the capabilities of all other steel centers in Alaska and on the West Coast of America. And we mean to stay that way.”
