The Alliance, in conjunction with numerous other Alaskan membership organizations has addressed a letter to President Barack Obama in anticipation of his upcoming visit to the state. The letter, mailed yesterday, emphasizes the importance of resource development to our state and asks that any federal regulatory decision made by the President consider the importance of oil, gas, minerals, timber and fisheries to the state. Especially their impact on jobs and the economy.
