Maritime Helicopter Welcomes Into Its Fleet a Bell 412HP
The Bell 412HP will be mission ready for the upcoming 2016 season with our certification for dual pilot IFR operations, with dual digital automatic flight control system and state of the art navigation system. The aircraft is equipped primarily to support the oil and gas industry during VFR (day/night) and IFR flight conditions. The aircraft can promptly be re-configured for firefighting and utility projects along with its ability to quickly change between passenger and cargo configurations. It has seating for eleven passengers plus two crewmembers. The Bell 412HP is known for its superior performance above its predecessor the Bell 212 and it’s reliably in the most extreme climates.
Maritime Helicopters, an Alaskan owned company, has been serving the Alaska helicopter community for over 42 years. The Bell 412HP will be the ideal aircraft to support the needs of the medium helicopter market from our seven locations: Homer, Fairbanks, Valdez, Kenai, Kodiak, Unalaska and Prudhoe Bay. We own and operate the only Bell Helicopter/Textron Certified Service Center in Alaska. Our Bristow acquisition in 2014, provided us with experienced Flight Safety International trained Bell 412 pilots and mechanics. Maritime Helicopters newly acquired Bell 412HP gives us the opportunity to provide our clients with a broader scope of services in 2016 and beyond.
