For Immediate Release: NORTHERN AIR CARGO TO PERFORM CEREMONY

NORTHERN AIR CARGO TO PERFORM CEREMONY

HONORING 29-YEAR RETIRING PILOT

Anchorage, AK – May 4, 2015 – Anchorage based Northern Air Cargo (NAC) will recognize pilot Dennis Schulze on Saturday, May 9, 2015, during a retirement ceremony celebrating his 29-year service with the company.

Dennis Schulze started with NAC on May 1, 1984 and piloted hundreds of flights throughout Alaska during his tenure.  A tragic and debilitating motorcycle accident in the fall of 2012 left Schulze uncertain about his future with the company; however, after months of recovery and physical therapy, Schulze was able to return to the workforce.

On Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., Dennis Schulze will receive a traditional aviation-type reception for retired pilots whereby the final flight-taxi arrival of the jet aircraft will be greeted by a deluge of water sprayed over the jet by airport fire trucks on the tarmac.  Shortly afterwards, a springtime barbecue will be held in his honor at the NAC cargo facility.
