Founded in 1976, Fairweather, LLC began as a provider of weather observation for aviation services in remote Alaska. Today, Fairweather is part of the Edison Chouset Offshore Companies and has expanded its services for the natural resource industry to include medical services, meteorological and oceanographic forecasting, aviation and airstrip support, environmental research, remote sensing, scientific surveying and expediting and logistics.
Fairweather operates the Deadhorse Aviation Center at the Deadhorse Airport on Alaska’s North Slope, as well as Fairweather Science, a joint venture with Olgoonik Corporation. And in 2013, Fairweather formed Tulugac, LLC – a subsidiary focused on the remote sensing and scientific survey aspects of Fairweather’s operations.
In their words, “Fairweather is committed to meeting the industry’s highest standards, ensuring the needs of every project are met, no matter how complex.”
