RIM’s corporate headquarters are in Anchorage, with additional offices in California, Guam and Hawaii. With a firm-wide staff of 76, including 28 licensed Architects and 20 Intern/Graduate Architects; CADD and QA/QC specialists, and administrative and management staff, RIM Architects works with clients and design team members throughout the US, Japan, China and Europe. Enjoying long-standing positive relationships with Alaska’s developers and contractors, RIM’s projects deliver a business case for good design. An example of this is the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, which saves 27% annually in energy costs as a result of work completed by RIM Architects and their design team for the Remodel & Seismic/Security Upgrades at Concourses A&B. RIM’s projects include: Denali and Eielson Visitor Centers at Denali National Park & Preserve; Centerpoint West Business Campus in mid-town Anchorage; numerous fire stations throughout Anchorage, Eagle River and Kenai; the Consortium Library and ANSEP buildings on the campus of UAA; Alaska’s northernmost hospital in Barrow; and numerous residential, hotel and military projects across Alaska.
