The Aspen Suites Hotel in Sitka Alaska just opened its doors on Friday July 14th with 71 spacious suites in downtown Sitka. The Aspen is the sixth of its kind to be built in Alaska with other locations in Anchorage, Kenai, Soldotna, Haines and Juneau.
“We are so excited to have our sixth Aspen Hotel in Sitka” says regional director of sales and marketing Carol Fraser. “The location within walking distance to the brand new Harrigan Centennial Hall will allow Sitka to bid on larger conferences bringing year-round business to this great city. With the addition of our hotel, we hope to also be a part of increasing the summer tourism and fishing business as well.”
The Sitka Aspen’s suites are fully furnished with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, two-burner cooktop stove and all cooking and eating utensils. Complimentary WIFI, exercise room, and lobby coffee are also available. The hotel features two meeting rooms to accommodate meetings from 10 – 50.
The Aspen Suites Hotel Sitka will be open year-round and will be employing approximately 20 local Alaskans.
About Aspen Hotels of Alaska
